What delivery method do you use?
We use a combination of courier and postal services including Sherpa, Couriers Please, Star Track Courier and Australia Post for our deliveries, to provide an efficient service to ensure freshness and quality of presentation of your gift.
Our delivery rates are fixed for your convenience - no nasty surprises at checkout! Only in the event of rush orders or large deliveries may we need to quote you a different price.

What if I require a more urgent or weekend service?
As detailed above, we are more than happy to accommodate urgent, same-day deliveries within the Perth metropolitan area, perfect for a last minute gift. We usually require notification by midday to enable this service. Within Perth metro we are usually able to arrange Saturday deliveries also. Sundays deliveries are not currently available. Please always contact us if you have any extenuating circumstances and we will do our best to assist you.
What if the person is not at home or at work to receive their gift?
We typically provide the authority to leave (where safe and possible) the gift at your recipients home if unattended, or with a colleague or reception at their workplace if they are unavailable. The delivery drivers are experienced and use their discretion when leaving parcels, if they deem it be unsafe, or it is unable to be left due to security gates and the like, then a card will be left to collect the parcel from their local post office or agent, or in some cases redelivery is arranged. The exception to this rule is for parcels containing alcohol (such as wine) as these gifts must be signed for due to liquor regulations.
Do you deliver to hospitals?
Yes, of course! It is a lovely way to show someone you care with a 'get well soon' gift or to welcome a new baby, for example. With any hospital delivery the instructions must be very thorough, including relevant wing, ward, room number, etc. If the recipient has been discharged from hospital before the gift arrives it is not the responsibility of Ginger B to cover the cost of redelivery. Please ensure your recipient will be there to receive their gift and in the case of an unexpected change to their circumstances, you may always call us here at Ginger B and if there is the opportunity to change the delivery destination we will do our absolute best to accomodate it.
Are the delivery vehicles refrigerated?
No, Ginger B gifts do not contain any perishable items so they are transported within standard courier vehicles. It is important to note therefore, that gifts containing chocolate pose the risk of softening during high temperatures whilst in the courier vehicle. Ginger B is not liable in the instance that chocolates or any other products are altered as a result of their transportation. All of our products are stored in a cool environment prior to delivery, and gifts are delivered as an express service wherever possible to minimise this risk.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, upon request. Each gift must be assessed with regards to any restrictions relevant to the country it is travelling to, and also its size and weight to determine delivery cost. So, please contact us via email to make arrangements. All prices quoted on this website are in Australian dollars.
