Order online and select local pickup, to save on delivery costs and enjoy the convenience of your ready-made gift, with swift turnaround!

We operate our local pickup Mon-Fri (excluding public holidays), 9am-3pm. Typically your order will be ready to collect within the hour!  

If ordering on the weekend, or after 3pm Mon-Fri, then it will be available to collect on the next business day. If you require a specific pickup time outside of these hours, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange this for you. 

DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY

We use a combination of courier and postal services for our deliveries, selecting the best method based on the distance and destination, to provide an efficient service to ensure freshness and quality of presentation of your gift. We always endeavour to use the most reliable service for your delivery location.

Our delivery rates are fixed for your convenience - no nasty surprises at checkout! Only in the event of rush orders or large deliveries may we need to quote you a different price.

We even offer a SAME DAY delivery service for those last minute gifts!

CHRISTMAS DELIVERY INFORMATION

As we all know, at Christmas time things become very busy, especially when it comes to parcel deliveries! Due to the volume of parcels going through Australia Post and other courier providers, it becomes difficult for them to meet their typical timeframes. Therefore, it is wise to allow additional time when planning your gifts to family and friends.

As information comes to hand, we will update this page to provide deadlines for Christmas deliveries to assist you.

Delivery FAQ's

What are the parameters for Same Day Delivery?

For Same Day Delivery you must place your order by 11am (AWST). Whilst we do not have the option to specify a particular time of day, you may contact us with any special requests and we will do our best to assist.

The Same Day service is only available to postcodes within a 20km radius of our location (an indication is Joondalup (N) to Kalamunda (E) to Coogee (S)). Outside of this radius is subject to a courier quote (please contact us).

Recipient must be present, or there must be sufficient access to the premises to safely leave the gift in their absence (ie. no security gates, etc). It is your responsibility to check these details prior to booking the Same Day service, as parcels that cannot be safely delivered incur a second delivery fee to be returned to us, that we must pass on.

What if the person is not at home or work to receive their gift?

We provide the authority to leave (where safe and possible) the gift at your recipients home if unattended, or with a colleague or reception at their workplace if they are unavailable. The delivery drivers are experienced and use their discretion when leaving parcels. If it is deemed unsafe or unable to be left (eg. security gates preventing access), then you will receive an email update indicating that the parcel has been returned to a post office or parcel agent that is local to your recipient's location, ready for their collection. We can assist with advising your recipient of their gift collection if you wish.

Do you deliver on weekends?

No, all of our delivery services are only available Monday to Friday, during our regular trading hours. We are also closed for trade on WA public holidays and other occasional holiday closures, which are notified on our website at the relevant times.

Do you deliver to hospitals?

Yes, of course! It is a lovely way to show someone you care with a 'get well soon' gift or to welcome a new baby, for example. With any hospital delivery the instructions must be very thorough, including relevant wing, ward, room number, etc. If the recipient has been discharged from hospital before the gift arrives it is not the responsibility of Ginger B to cover the cost of redelivery. Please ensure your recipient will be there to receive their gift and in the case of an unexpected change to their circumstances, you may always call us here at Ginger B and if there is the opportunity to change the delivery destination we will do our absolute best to accomodate it.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, upon request and subject to quote via Australia Post. Bear in mind that due to the size and weight of gift hamper parcels, international freight costs can be significant, and we also need to consider any restrictions relevant to the country it is travelling to (eg. alcohol). So, please contact us via email to discuss and make suitable arrangements. All prices quoted on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Are the delivery vehicles refrigerated?

No, Ginger B gifts do not contain any perishable items so they are transported within standard courier vehicles. It is important to note therefore, that gifts containing chocolate pose the risk of softening during high temperatures whilst in the courier vehicle.

Ginger B is not liable in the instance that chocolates or any other products are altered as a result of their transportation. All of our products are stored in a cool environment prior to delivery, and gifts are delivered as an express service wherever possible to minimise this risk.
